Pretty Well spurted four furlongs up the back in 53 l-ssec, and Helios ran a mile in lmin 55 4-5 see. Tessera (H. Corr) and Shimmer (Cochrane) negotiated five flights of hurdles B a.ti<=factonly, while Blessbok (Ayers) and Treni (Cochrane) performed fairly satisfactorily -n a similar task. Tho following horsea were given use-ful to light tasks : —Ability, DeerBlayer, Contender, Love Wisely, Vas», Aarangi, Sen Sim and Lo Beau.
