SIR ANTONY MACDONNELL RETIRING.
LONDON, April 16. The "Pall Mall Gazette" states that Sir Antony Macdonnell, TTnder-Secre-tary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, finding his task in Ireland hopeless with curtailed powers, ia making the best terms he can with the Treasury regarding his retirement. It is understood that his successor will be Sir James Dougherty, his present eubordinate. j
