United Press Association— By Eleotrio Telegraph — Copyright. (Received April 16, 10.26 a.m.) LONDON, April 15. Tallow.— At the tallow sales 1350 casks were offered, and 750 casks sold; prices unchanged. Lead. — £13 12s 6d per tan. (Received April 16. 9.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 16. The Colonial Sugar Company has raised its prices another 10s. The price of bran has advanced to £7 10s.
[Per Press Association.] NAPIER, April 16. The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company, London, in its cable message, says that the values of lamb and hindquarters of beef have declined id. To-day's quotations are: — Cantorbury mutton, 4sd; Napier. Wellington and the North Island, 3£d. Lamb — First quality, ssdj second, sjd. Beef — Hindquarters, 3fd; forequarters, 3£d.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Limited, have received, the following cablegram from their London office, dated. April 15 : — " Since our la3t telegram prices of good descriptions of tallow are a shade firmer, whilst low and inferior sorts are, a shade easier. There will be no public sales of tallow next week."
