« OPERA HOUSE. There was a characteristically large audience on Saturday night at cue Opera House, when Fuller's Entertainers presented a new programme, introducing a liberal selection of new fare. Miss Ida Ingersole made a first appearance as a serio and dancer, and Master Rupert Christie, a young soprano of much talent, was also heard for the first time. Among other fresh faces were those of Bert Sharp, a vocal comedian; Melvin and Frawley, who belong to the large but popular category oi comedy sketch, artists; and Gertie Evevitt, who is a characteristic comedienne.' Armstrong and Verne, who are two of the most favoured among popular artist6, will make their farewell this week. The tour in th© north, of this company, which, besides a large number of artists who' are 'favourites in New Zealand, includes a number of new actors, has been a great success. The company will arrive in Christchurch on Christmas Day. The production of the pieces to be played during the Christchurch season is in the hands of Mr George E. Bryant, who stage managed "The Squaw Man " and other pieces included in th© repertoire of Mr J. O. Wiilamson's "Squaw Man" Company, Elaborate scenery has been painted by Mr Alfred Clim and Mr 1 Harry Whaite.
