NATIONAL BANK OF NEW ZEALAND. The National Bank of New Zealand has declared a dividend of 10 per cent THE CASE OF LIEUTENANT WOODS. Lieutenant Woods was Bummonec under Article 477 to resign or bo removed. He resigned, protesting against a decision which, on ground* that he and his advisers considered in sufficient and inadequate, closed hi< military career. (In November a Court of Inquiry ai Chelsea investigated the allegations o Lieutenant Woods, of the second bat talioh of the Grenadier Guards, thai because he had been more .studio us thai others his career was impeded owinj to his superiors boycotting him in th< hope that he would resign. The Arm;; Council, after considering the repori of the committee, found that Lieu tenant Woods was inefficierit as a re gimental officer, and that his retentioi in the service was not to the intercsi of th© Army.)
