Mr Collins, the Commonwealth agent, in replying to thej Daily .Graphic's" criticisms, denied that Australia ever in practice or principle failed to recognise her obligations to aid in the general defence of the Empire. Australia was setting an example to the Empire by obliging citizens to train for the defence of their country.
