SATURDAY'S "STAR."
The " Star " to-morrow will be of a special character, the magazine portion of its contents having been selected to suit the Christmas season. The tales and sketches all touch on Christmas influences' and incidents, and the ladies' columns have been compiled in the same spirit. Altogether the number will afford excellent and appropriate reading for the festival so dear to the hearts of English, people, and in fact to the hearts of all Christendom, for the Christmas influences are worlds-wide in their operation, and are the same wherever the Cross is the symbol of a common faith.
