'♦ ■ — CHRISTOHURCH. Thdbsdat, December 19. - (Before Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M.) Drunkenness.— Two firrft offenders were fined ss, in default twenty-four hours' imprisonment, on charges ,of drunkenness. Obscene Language. — Mary "Watts pleaded guilty to a charge of drunkenness, and not guilty to a charge of using obscene language at Scott Street, Sydenham, yesterday. After hearing evidence in support of the charge, his Worship convicted the aocused on both charges and sentenced her tq six •months'' imprisonment, with hard labour, her previous record being a bad one. _y ,
