[Per Pbess Association.] WELLINGTON, December 19. The Wellington Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association pad a request from the Council before ft to contribute towards the cost of ■lending the New Zealand team to tjie* Australasian championship meeting at Hobart in February. The Centre obfected to being exiled upon while the ' Council itself was in iK)ssegaio*a of funds, and considered it the duty- of the centrul body to sejid the team on Its own account. It was also decided _o write to the other Centres asking *bern to support this attitude.
