RAILWAY SUPERANNUATION.
Mr J. Allen moved — " That it is de•sirable to have an actuarial investigation of the Railways Superannuation Fund before March 31, 1908." The Hon J. Carroll opposed the motion, as very studied consideration had to be given to a mot on of the kind before being acceded ■■>'>. On a division, the motion was negatived by 34 to 29. A COMPLAINT. Mr Barclay moved — " That the prosent systeim of dealing with the qufstion6 is unsatisfactory, and tru*o the old 6ystcin of a- king a question and receiving an answer at the time be reported to! 5 ' ,14. The discussion was interrupted at 5.30 p.m.
