LONDON WOOL SALES. LONDON, July 17. At the wool sales the price realised for the clip marked R S over T was Hid. Tallow — At the tallow gales 706 casks were offered and 625 casks were sold. Fine mutton 36s 9d, medium 35s 6d, fine beef 36s 3d, medium 34s 6d per cwfc. (Received July 18, 11.45 a.m.) Wool is firm and competition is very keen for the best wools.

The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company, London, 6ends by cable the following frozen meat quotations: — "Canterbury mutton, 4gd ; Napier, Wellington and North Lsland, 3£d. Lamb — First quality o£d, second quality s£d. Beef — Hindquarters 3|d, forequarters, 3£d."
Messrs Dalgety and Go., Limited, have received the following cable message from their London office, under date July 17 : — " Since our last telegram, prices of prime mutton tallow are unchanged. For other descriptions prices are on the average 6d higher."
