ALLEGED FRAUDS.
A SECRETARY CHARGED. [Per Press Association.] WEi^INGTON, December 21. A. W. Purvis, Srecretary of the Benevolent Trustees, and master of the Ohiro Home, appeared, on remand, at the Magistrate's Court to-day to answer charges of theft and false pretences iv , connection with the funds of tho trustees. The amount involved in th« original information was £33, but this morning six > further informations, involving sums of £28, £41 and £20, wero laid. Accused was remanded to December 28. Bail was allowed.
