SATURDAY'S "STAR."
» : The "Star" to-morrow will be of a special character, inasmuch as the whole of the portion of it usually der voted to general literature will be occupied by tales and sketches having for theme . the Christmas season, or at any rate having close reference to it. The tales have been specially selected, as have also the sketches, and there is besides a copious selection of suitable Christmas poetry. The issue will doubt-less be welcome to readers, and, as a large demand is anticipated, the usual three editions will be added to in point of number of copies printed, but Teaders anxious to secure copies would do well to arrange with the runners who supply them.
