STABBING CASE.

THE KNIFE AT COROMANDEL. [Per Pbess Association.] AUCKLAND, December 3. Thomas Manning has been arrested at Coromandel, charged with having etabbed William Hollis, manager of the old Kapanga gold-mine, Coromandel, with ix sheath-knife. Manning called upon Hollis to get paid for work done at the mine, and it is alleged that Manning stabbed him through the muscular part of the arm, the knife severing all the muscles, and coming out at the shoulder. Unless blood-poisoning gets in, the doctor does not anticipate any immediate danger. It is stated that Manning was dismissed a few days ago.
