The Clyde shipbuilders' strike has collapsed. It i6 stated that it cost the Boilermakers' Union' £28,000, and the men lost £150,000 in wages.

The building . trade employees are seeking a reduction ot their working hours to forty-four p&r week and an increase of wages by lsd an hour.
