W. L. Sladen, of Dover. < The bees are in sixteen boxes/ and there are 176 queens of the lopidarius variety, which is considered the most useful. The bees are coming at a most opportune and early time, and they will nave a good prospect of establishing themselves strongly while the weather is favourable. It is not known yet' where they will be released. The Association expects a further shipment later on. The new issue of "Itinerary of Travel in New Zealand" has been published, and is right up-to-date. Christchurch has been specially considered, and there is full information connected with the Exhibition city. The whole issue marks a great improvement on that of last season, the trips being more clearly defined, 7 and the latest information supplied. With the book are being given sectional maps of any tour, and^ a thoroughly accurate map of Chrietchurch, showing tram routes. The office is now in a better position than ever before to give the fullest details of any trip, Mr Moon being able to advise from personal experience since his comprehensive tour through the colony. The Department will move to its new offices in the old Colonial Bank Buildings in a few days, and there will then be greater facilities tor disseminating tourist infotiaation. - At present there is a good preiss of business going through, the office, and this .jnorning there were over thirty callers.
