THE ANGLO-FRENCH CONVENTION. United Press Association— By Blectrio Telegraph— Copyright. LONDON, November 14. Mt Winston Churchill, Under-Secre-tary for the Colonies, states that he has prepared a despatch d£ considerable length regarding the New Hebrides, dealing with the negotiations and convention on their merits. The despatch has been sent to Lord Northoote, Governor-General of Australia, and will 6oon reach him. The Government will publish the papers justifying its action. As far as the future is concerned, the Government will always desire to consult with the colonies- in the fullest manner on any subject affecting them, both before and during negotiations. At the coming conference, further opportunity will arise of considering the machinery to fad employed in this direction.
