DUNEDIN NOTES.
[From Our Correspondent.] DUNEDIN, March 29. The Dock Trust has agreed to relieve Mr Andrew Thomson, manager, of his duties forthwith, paying him four months' salary in lieu of notice. It is reported that the Seamen's Union intends to cancel its registration, and that another strike is projected on the eve of the Christmas holidays. On being appealed to as to whether the report had any foundation, Mr Belcher, secretary of the Maritime Council, replied that he had. nothing to say.
