A PARSON'S LOVE AFFAIR
The Rev Frank Cordova, lately a Methodist pastor in Now Jersey, lias been found guilty of deserting his wife and children. Cordova became enamoured with .Miss Julia Browne, leader of his choir, and they eloped. Mrs Cordova forgave the pastor, and Julia, forgiven by her parents, returned home. Shortly after Cordova left again, and went to work in a bakehouse,' Miss Browne taking a position in a neighbouring shop. A second time the oouple'eloped. The police arrested t-Bem at Washington. Cordova wished for a divorce, but his wife would not agree to this, although several rich persons offered to make her a yearly allowaoaco if -she did.
