[Per Press Association.] WANGANUI, May 25. There were fine weather and a large attendance at the second day's racing of the Wanganui Jockey Club's Winter Meeting. Ihe following are latest results: — • WINTER OATS, of 150 soys; one mileSolution, Bst lllb, 1; Full Cry, 7s* 7lb > 2 J Regulation, Bst 9lb, 3. Ngatarua was scratched. A good race. GRANDSTAND STEEPLECHASE, of 150 soys; two miles and a half — Jack o' Lantern, list 3ib, 1; Cairo, 9st 7lb, 2; Slow Tom, list 131 b, S. All started. Won easily. Eurus and Duffer fell. Dividends— _s lis and £4 10s.
. BALGOWNIE HACK RACE, of 70 soys; one mile end a. distance — Amaryllis, 7-st 21b, 1; Iseult, !,Bst Sib, 2; Letherin, 7et slb, 3. All started. Won by a bare length, after a gcod race.
