Mr H. D. Bedford, M.H.R., arrived from Wellington this morning, and went to Dunedin by the second express. He was accompanied to the south by Mr G. Laurenson, M.H.R., who will return to Christchuvch to-morrow.
Mr Honeywood, who : has been in Christchurch for a few days, went south this morning.
Mr R. Langton will leave for Wellington this evening. » Mr and Mrs J. .W. Hammond, of Sydney, are in Christchurcb. Mr A. Willoock, of Wellington, arrived in Christchurch to-day.
Mr, and Mrs Seal© left for Timaru today. v - . Drs Fairclough and Hay and Mr D. A v Aiken arrived from Wellington by the s.s. Rotomahana this morning.
Sergeant Rogers has arrived in Christchurch, on transfer, to Rangiora, where he will take charge of the police station.
The following passengers have been booked for Wellington by the s.s.
