Owing to the attitude of the St Petersburg strikers, the Franco-Rus-sian dockyard, the Russo- American factory, the Nerski thread-works, and leveral other establishments have closed for two months. The majority of the strikers at War* i»w, except the iron-workers, have repumed, with shorter hours and a 10 per pent increase in wages. f Three-fourths of the workers at Lodz 'fere still out. The strike has stopped traffic on the Ifoscow-Rybinsk-Windan railway. The "Novoe Vremya" states that Russian society is shaken to the foundations, and torn by dissensions, is partially responsible for the assassination.
