The brick sheds at the Brunner Company's mine, together with the whole of the machinery, were totally destroyed by fire this morningr Other buildings adjoining were considerably damaged, and Craigh's grocery stock has suffered greatly through its hasty removal. The loss \is very considerable, but the insurances are not ascertainable, the risks being taken in Wellington offices. A large number of men will be thrown out of work for at least a month or six weeks.
