A patient named Wiiiiaan, Grant, twantyseveiK years . of age, is missing from' the Patea Hospital. . His hat and ft slipper w«W found in tha Patea River. Grant suffered! from melancholia', ■and it is supposed" that lie drowned himeelf. Robert Yandle, a resident of Otafceho for twenty-two years, and aged seventy, was killed 1 while riding home from Manuiai on Tuead-ay. His fooree shied, aoid deoeaeed' wa3 thrown with great violence to. the ground.
