At the Supreme Court, William Edward Phillips -was found guilty of assault and causing actual bodily harm^ and' was required to enter into a 'bond of £200 and) find two sureties of £100 for his good behaviour for twelve months, in default twelve months' "imprisonment. Roy King, Ross Furniss, and Oscar Anderson, throe lads, pleaded guilty to two charges of breaking and entering at Hastings, and were remanded for Sentence. Other charges against the accused will probably not be proceeded with. The case against John Sinclair was withdrawn, there being no evidence of complicity.
