The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company ihaa received! .the following cablegram from its Lomdion office: — The frozen meat market shows a further heavy fall in the value of beef. Both. (hindquarters andforequarters hay* declined ai half -penny. To-day's quotations ave>: — GanterlHxry mutton, 4£d; Napier, Wellington and; North Island, 4d. Lamb, first quality, 6d ; ; second quality, s|d. Beef, hindquarters 3fd, forequarters 2£d. 'Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London office, dated August 31 : — " Since our last telegram prices of tallow in general are higher by 3d to 6d per cwt."
