«, WOOLSTON. Tie Woolston Boroti^h Council met on Thursday; present — the Mayor (Mr J. Richardson) and Councillors Thomas, Moore, Spreadfoury, Ohaimp, Henley, Hayes, Woodhouse and Beaumont. The Workß Committee's report recommended that a lamp should,. be erected at the corner of Mnrcroft and Randolph Streeta, and that eight lampposts should bo purchased. The -working plan of the road formation and channelling, as submitted by Mr Schauman, through his engineers, Messrs Mlntyore r.nd Lewis, should be approved. Mr Wild'a application for the approval of a plan of sub-division of his property was declined. The clerk was authorised to obtain a tally of traffic over t!he Heathcote Bridge.
