OBITUARY.
_, Mr John Edward Brock elbank, bootmaker, Kaiapoi, died early yesterday morning, somewhat suddenly. The friends of ' Mrs J.G. E. Simpkinson. of Moana Ara, Mount Grey Downs, will regret to hear of her death, which occurred unexpectedly iast evening, after a few hours' illness. The deceased was a daughter of the late Mr John Thomas Brown, of Mount Thomas Station, and was widely known and much respected. '
