* ; A GIANT LAMA RUNS AMOK. (Received August 27. 9.16 a.m.) BOMBAY, August 26. A Lama, of Herculean proportions, attacked Captains Young and Kelly on tlie outskirts of the camp, and severely wounded both with his sword. He then seized a sentry's rifle, rushed the camp, and ran amok. Efe was eventually overpowered, condemned to dearth and hanged. A British interpreter was found severely wounded. It iis believed that the attacks are isolated cases of fanaticism on the part of certrJ_i irreconcilables.
