A Bill "hns! been prepared by Government to give effect to the proposal that members of Hospital Boards should, be directly elected; v THE ARBITRATION ACT. Representative's of the Employers' Association gave evidence before the Labouf Bills Committee this morning, regarding ,-the Industrial 'Arbitration Act Amendment Bill. It is understood that thoy^ are in favour of the measure, but suggest that one CoUrt should be set, up for each island. AN OFFICER SUSPENDED. Pending the result of an inquiry as to why the printed answers and questions were not in the hands of«*members when the- JHouse'met this morning, the Premier' has suspended the overseer 1 of the GoVei'ilment Printing Office.
