Wilson and C. Treweek (scratch). W. B. Fox and J. Kennedy (handicap 5); and M. Cotton and B. B. Wood (handicap 9) beiug four down to the colonel. The resignation of Mr J. F. Miles as treasurer of the Christchurch Club has been announced. It is to be hoped that Mr Miles will be persuaded to reconsider his intention of resigning office, as a more energetic treasurer, painstaking and enthusiastic green committee-man, with plenty of practical experience, it will be difficult to find and impossible to adequately replace.
