A fire in Shortland Street early this morning destroyed about £1000 worth 'of stock and machinery of Messrs A>el Dykes and Co., printers, burned the rooms of Mr Dos setter, chemist, and damaged the dentist's rooms of Mr T. V. Frost by smoke and water 1 The fire is 'believed to have originated in Mr Dossettor's warn.
