LORD RANFURLY'S COMPLIMENT. [Per Pases Association.] - WELLINGTON, June 22. Sir Joseph Ward yesterday received the following telegram from Lord Ranfurlyt — "The run from Lyttelton to Bluff by train occupied 10 hours 45 minutes, of which Dunedin to InVlrcargill tool£ 3 hours 30 minutes. The journey waa : . quite easy, there being no ..unusual shaking, which speaks very highly for your gangers, and shows that the line must be in good order. There was only one delay of fifteen minutes on the road, which is good work. Many thanks for your kind arrangements." This means that 392 miles were covered in lOf hours, including all stoppages.
