THE RUSSIAN DEATH ROLL.
LONDON, May 4. The losses 4 themth and 12fck Regiments are unknown, but are very great. One colonel and two lieutenant-colonels of the 11th Regiment -were killed. The 12th Regiment lost nine company commanders killed -and "wounded. The Second and Third ' Batteries of the Sixth Brigade abandoned tiheir guns -when they had lost tie greater nnmbep of their men and horses, bttt first .rendered the guns /useless. For the same reason, six guns of the Third Battery were disabled and abandoned. Up to the present, eight hundred -wounded, including fourteen officers, (hare been t brought to Feng-huen-cheng Hospital. [ Their eventual transport elsewhere is asI sured. . t \ j A body- of Japanese cavalry appeared: south-feast of Feng-huen-cheng, but did'not approach, aften seeing two companies with two guns. The transport of tihe wounded by Chinese bearers was very difficult. 'Most arrived at the fort, assisted by their comrades, within one day of the battle. The troops have retained their morale, and are ready for.fresh engagements.
