SATURDAY'S "STAR."
3 The serial tale, by Mr Headon Hill, "The Kiss of the Enemy," will be continued in Saturday's " Star," the marine tion of which will have a more than usually interesting selection of short tales and sketches. The ladies' columns will also he abundantly supplied with readme matter interesting to the sex ; while the columns beaded " Household Hints " and " Woman's World " .will contain the usual -budget of recipes and scraps of household wisdom, as well as paragraphs regarding the doings of prominent women throughout the world. There will, of course, be the usual column set aside for gardeners, and " Work for the Week " will be found full of seasonable advice and instruction. The writer of "The Week" column allows himself a free— yet tactfulhand, as uSual, and his shots are more or les3 near the mark— mostly more. Then there is the column " Brief Mention," a collection of staccato paragraphs of fact, and ' Fun and Fancy " is compiled from such sources as are usually credited with being witty and humorous. The paper is of .the usual 9at--1 urday size — eight pages of eight columns each— and a special edition is iasuediit eight o'clock in the evening, giving the latest news from everywhere.
