THE ICEBERGS.
Captain Colbeck states that the icebergs he met with ranged from 50ft to 200 ft high. A height of 300 ft was phenomenal. As a rule, there was on the top about 20ft of snow. Below that there was either White or blue ice, the two oolours making a splendid contrast. Exceedingly beautiful caves were seen in the icebergs, different shades of blue, being displayed inside. Tb,e picture was specially fine on a day when the bright lights fell upon it. Wnen wintering in these regions, Captain Coibeck entered i some of the oaves, which were 70ft or 80fb in extent.
