ROBBERS MURDER A FAMILY.
BARBAROUS SLAUGHTER OF SLEEPING CHILDREN. On Tuesday December 15, three men were stealing pigs from the farm of a man named Palacky, at the village of Dombeggyhaza, in Hungary. The farmer caught sight of them and rushed "out into the. yard, armed witb a pitchfork, to defend his property, his wife flowing him. A violent altercation ensued; during which Palacky struck one of the thieves with the pitchfork, killing him instantly. Thereupon the dead mati's comrades fell on Palacky^ and killed him and his wife. Immediately afterwards they entered the house and murdered two children who were sleeping, thus exterminating the whole family. Taking what money they, could find, the assassins then placed tbeir dead comrade, with the stolen togs, on a cart and drove away. Next day both were captured by the police.
