Two hundred thousand dollars is the value set on Mrs Bradley Martin's emeralds. A beautiful necklace of black pearls once belonging to the Empress,. Eugenic is now the property of the Countess of Uchester. The largest pearl in the world is possessed by Mrs Arthur Paget. A fan encrusted with diamonds, emeralds and rubies, and valued at £2500, is the possession of the Countess of Craven. Lady Wharnclifle owns the largest tunquoise in England. A marvellous necklace composed of rough pearls and Egyptian scarabei, which is as old aa 5000 _*._., is worn by Madame Calve.
