«■ A match in the Thursday competition, between the Lyttelton and Union Clubs, was finished at Lancaster Park yesterday afternoon. Lyttelton won by 79 ruins on the first innings. The scores were: — Lyttelton 209 (J. _uahar 107,. D. Pa<re 41 not out) ; Union 130 (Hebden 27). Lyttelton is now leading in the competition, with two matches to be played.
