Four short stories are on page two, dovetailed with selected verses amd Christmas matter, while page three, in addition to shortstories, has an excellent article on "Sayings of the Saviour," a discovery by Egyptologists near Cairo. There is also a long article on new tricks for Christmas parties, some of the tricks being- illustrated. Jn the inside pages the special feature is the "Invasion of New Zealand." In last Saturday's "Star" a sea duel was described, and the reader was left wonder- ! ing as to what part of the colony the war -would b© carried n£xt.
