SUPREME COURT.
[Per Press Associaton.] AUCKLAND, June 15.
In the Supreme Court, Charles Miller, committed from New Plymouth on a charge of forging the name of one Rua, of Rahotu, to an order for £1, waa sentenced to twelve months;' imprisonment. John Baxter, for assaulting Mary Clare and breaking her jaw, was sentenced to two years' imprisonment, and for common assault on Janet O'Mara to one year's imprisonment, the sentences to be cumulative.
