EIRE IN A DISTILLERY.
A RIVER OF BURNING WHISKY.
United Press Association— By EUotrio Telegraph— Copyright. (Received June 15, 9.20 a.m.) LONDON, June 14. One million gallons of whisky in th* Ardgowan Distillery, Greenock, took fire. The burning spirit ran <Jown the street* and sewers, destroying a flour mill and carrying the fire to the lowest quarters of the town. Escaping gas in ft sewer exploded; in a private house and seven persons were killed and six injured. Damage to the amount of £100,000 was done.
