Copper.— On spot £56 5s per ton, three months' £55 17s 6d per ton. _^__.r Silver, 2s o£d per oz. At the tallow sales 1147 casks were offered and 606 casks sold. Fine mutton was 6d and other sorts were M dearer. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London Office, under date June 10; — Since our telegram of May 27 prices of prime mutton tallow are higher by 6d to Is per cwt, and other descriptions by 3d 1 to 6d per cwt. Expect no further improvement in tallow prices, unless edible demand revives.
