THB DUNEDIN CONFERENCE. [Pjtß PREBS AfISOCIATIOK.I DUNEDIN, June 4. The National Dairy Association to-day affirmed the desirableness of having one man at the head of the Dairy Department as commissioner, whether delected in the colony or outside. Amongst other resolutions the following were passed: — That a factory he allowed to register and use only two brands ; that exporters be not allowed any private brand ; that Inspectors of Machinery be 'invited to inspect a dairy factory's boilers during winter instead of summer. The chairman undertook to bring before the committee the desirableness of the amalgamation of the North and South Island branches. The conference has concluded. r ■
