SARIS, May 8.
M. Delcasse, on being interviewed, aaid that King Edward's • visit was regarded ai an act of friendship and a- spontaneous tes^ timony of esteem and sympathy very precious to the Republic. Sintj^ro neighbourly relations between France and England were highly desirable, though the Russian alliance was, invaluable as a piVofc to. the Republic's aotion abroad.
