A NOVELTY IN DIVORCE.

In a divorce case in which a rule nisi was granted, the husband obtained a provisional deliverance from his wife, who, on the evidence submitted, had transferred her affections to somebody else. Mr Justice Williams expressed his surprise at a lad3 r being joined as. co-respondent. The case, he said, was sufficiently constituted without putting forward a co-respondent, and it was something new to find a lady in that position. It did not matter, however. Things had changed very much in these affairs, and perhaps though unusual, the procedure was right.
