The Second Chamber of the Netberl__d_ States General .passed the railway measure by 81 votes to 6. Tble Chamber passed a clause imposing a penalty of nine month-*: imprisonment and a fine of £12 on per--sons found guilty of attempts to interfere' with individual liberty. Another clause punishes as a misdemeanour strikes by railway workers. The whole Bill was- aigreed to by 81 votes to 14. The C-amber authorised the formation of a military brigade of workers for the railway* during strikes and an inquiry into the position of tbe personnel of tihe railway.
