LONDON, April 8. The London Bank of Australia has unanimously agreed to a reduction of capital. -. (The proposal which has been sanctioned by the Bharehold<}rs of the London Bank of Australia was to reduce the Bank's capital by £7 10s per sha.re, in order to make the fullest provision for losses in: stock and the depreciation of property. The directors in their report stated that owing to the disastrous effects of the prolonged drought upon pastoral properties in Australia it' wouLd be prudent to reduce the capital.)
