Th© entry of poultry was large, and aa feed is becoming mor4 pleaitiful the quality of the birds entered shows improvement. There was a ■• brisk demand for all prim© fowls, particularly go&d-siz?d pullets, which were scarce. Hens brought from 2s 6d to 4s, pullets 2i? 3d to 5s 6d, roosters 2s 6d to 5s 3d, ducks 3s 6d to ss, geese 6s 6d to Bs, turkeys to 15s, all at per pair.
