CHRiSTCHURCH. Fnin.vY, Feb. 6. (Before Mr W. J. Neat?,. J.P., and Mr ,1 Murray, J.P.) Dkttxkknnkss.— Three first offenders were fined 5s and costs, or, in default, twenty-four hours' imprisonment. By-laws. — James Watson was fined 10s for riding a bicycle after dark without a light. — Edward M'Cann and Robert Jones were each fined 10s for a, similar offende. — Arthur Brunsden, for alLowing his chimney to catch fire, Avas fined, ss. — J. A. Luke was charged with, having allowed six head of cattle to graze on the public roads in Bt Albans. He pleaded not guilty, and, after hearing evidence, the case was dismissed. Prohibition Obdek. — A prohibition order was granted against ,a man, on tho application of his wife, the order to be in. force for twelve months in Christchuruh and surrounding districts.
